  • The North Wilts Ringing Centre is available to book for any band or group of ringers. Please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. It is situated on the front 8 at Christ Church (tenor 11 cwt). The simulator currently uses ABEL.
  • We suggest a donation of £1.00 per person per session but  please give what you feel is appropriate. The money is shared between Christchurch and the branch.

We aim to hold practices on the 3rd Saturday in the month.

Ordinarily we aim to offer 4 learner slots for anyone to come and practice something specific to them, with about 30 minutes of ringing time each. This can be anything from rounds and call changes or plain hunt, to ringing treble bob and surprise methods inside; and conducting too. If you want to try something please ask, and we will try and accommodate it.

The Swindon Branch of the Gloucester & Bristol Association of Church Bell Ringers is committed to the safeguarding of children under 18 and, where appropriate, vulnerable adults. We have a responsibility to prevent the physical, sexual, psychological, financial or discriminatory abuse or neglect of such children or vulnerable adults. Therefore, the Swindon Branch undertakes to exercise due diligence in the appointment and selection of those who work closely with children or vulnerable adults, and intend to follow any guidelines issued by the church authorities and meet such civil legal requirements as may be in force.
